The year 1996 marked the birth of paria forma. To create beauty with shape, beauty for others to enjoy. The type of artwork I create is unlike any other therefore has a name of its own. 

I create my work from photographs, changing the images into shapes which are then cut out of tiny pieces of paper to form a realistic portrait. The intricately designed pieces hold the viewers attention with their detail. As time has gone by, my artwork has evolved, most recently into paintings. I paint in a pop art style using the same principles.

Art has always been a part of my life. Throughout my childhood I remember always drawing or painting and on into high school where paria forma began. I live in Longmont, Colorado and work from my studio at home with my daughter and husband at my side. I am an avid mountain biker. My work has been in limited production for the last few years because of my cycling career.
